Six Dozen Duckies

Once upon a time, Russell and I decided that every year for Christmas we would get one new Christmas ornament for the tree.

2009- a polka dot ball from one of our Snow Hall friends
2010- a fancy blue and gold Snow College ornament
2011- a weird monkey guy that we thought was really cool at the time
And 2012- a rubber duck!

'Why a rubber duck?' you might be wondering... Well, I will tell you!

It could be the fact that this particular duck is kind of baby girl-ish and we are about to have our first baby girl.

Or it could be because we are going to a Voicemale concert this Saturday where we fully intend on throwing these ducks at the singers.

It could even be to remember that 2012 was the year that I went a little crazy and found rubber duckies on Amazon and purchased six dozen. Yep, SIX DOZEN!

Anyway, whatever the reason... I'm excited to show you our brand new ornament! :)

A Poem From My Childhood...

SCALE

That was my thought exactly when I stood on my dad's scale yesterday and saw nothing but a 34 week belly when I looked down...

25 Weeks

My belly looks a lot bigger than last week, huh? On Sunday when we were at the Brigham City Temple dedication, our baby girl was going crazy during the closing song. It was really fun! Then yesterday we went to a ward FHE activity in Lewiston where a very nice elderly man played the guitar in an attempt to keep everyone at his house just a little longer... As soon as he started, she started dancing AGAIN! So pretty much, I think there is a lot of Mousercise in my future. Pull out the old tape mom! :)

One Week Later...

When my sister Jamie came to visit from England, I promised I would post some pictures so she could see how big my belly gets. But I'm pretty sure it's looking about the same as I did last week... Maybe I should do photo updates every 2 weeks instead?

The Birthday Boy

Today hasn't been a very exciting birthday for Russell. I went to work, he went to school, then I went BACK to work for a staff meeting. Bummer, right? I think that means we are grown ups now or something... But don't worry, we got to celebrate by eating some delicious ice cream cake brought to us by our friends Joe and Jess. Thanks you guys! :)

23 Weeks

Up until this point, I have pretty much kept this whole pregnancy thing on the DL as far as the online world is concerned.

I haven't even said anything about our baby girl on Facebook...mostly because I'm not a fan of all the people who are no more to me than Facebook friends suddenly having an interest in my life. Plus, I think it's funny when people do DAILY photo updates showing their profile belly shot. :)

I also think it's funny to post sideways pictures before the belly even shows up...which is why mine are just barely starting.

Anyway, I've had a bunch of my real friends (not to be confused with my Facebook friends) asking to see the silly tummy shot since they live too far away to see it in real life.

So friends, here it is! The belly shot a few of you have been asking for....
